Sweater Knitting 101 with Karen Miller

Are you ready to start your first knit sweater? In this class, students will work through knitting a top-down raglan sweater from start to finish!

This is a four part series!

• Session 1: September 5
• Session 2: September 12
• Session 3: October 3
• Session 4: October 17
  

All sessions meet on Saturday mornings 10am-12pm

Required Materials

• Pattern: Flax Worsted by Tin Can Knits (FREE PATTERN)
• Worsted weight yarn in quantity appropriate for sweater size - see pattern
• Circular knitting needles for large and small circumference - see pattern for sizes
• Stitch markers, row counter, measuring tape
• Waste Yarn

Prerequisites - students must be familiar with the following skills:

• Cast on to knit in the round
• Knit, purl, increase stitches, and decrease stitches
• Large and small circumference knitting
  

Please complete a gauge swatch prior to first class session!
