Steek with Confidence with Diana Ricketts

If you're nervous about CUTTING YOUR KNITTING, then this class will guide you through every step of the steeking process. Students will learn a variety of strategies and test them out on their swatches. That way you will know what your project needs, and you have the right tools for the job!

Materials Required: 

• one swatch knit in the round at least 16" in circumference and 4" tall - stockinette
• one flat swatch at least 5" wide and 3" tall - 2x2 ribbing
• scrap yarn
• chenille needle or tapestry needle
• crochet hook
• sharp scissors

Prerequisites: This is an intermediate level knitting class, but adventurous beginners are welcome! Students will receive instructions for prepared swatches.
