Knitting Next Steps

Students will build on knitting basics during this class including: purl stitch, working in stockinette stich, and binding off. Students will have the option to start a small project! This class is ideal for folks who have dipped their toes into knitting with our Beginning Knitting class OR who have learned to cast-on and use the knit stitch. 

Required Materials: 

• yarn of choice - recommend DK to worsted weight yarn
• appropriate knitting needles for yarn choice - recommend US 6-8 needles

Prerequisites: Beginning Knitting class OR student knows how to cast on and use the knit stitch to work garter stitch fabric.

Ages: 16+
