Afterthought Heels with Ashley Spencer

This is a two-part series.

Turn your cranked sock tube into a pair of socks! In this class, students will learn how to split a cranked sock tube before working a toe and inserting an afterthought heel. 

Required Materials:

• Cranked sock tube - This service is provided as part of the class fee. Please bring your chosen skein of sock yarn to the shop to be cranked by October 15. Recommend light colors - solid or very lightly variegated.
• Contrast sock yarn for heels, toes, and cuffs.
• Knitting needles: US size 1 or 1.5
• Notions: tapestry needle, yarn snips

Prerequisites: Students must be able to knit in small circumference (with magic loop or DPNs) and work decreases (ssk and k2tog).
